Deep In The Week !

"Deep In The Week" is an opportunity for you to dig deeper into God's word.  It's a time to challenge yourself for personal growth in your relationship with Jesus Christ.

I hope you will use this resource on a regular basis as a tool to better your walk as you follow Christ with your life.

Real Life Church group meets at Pastor Jared's home every Wednesday. It's an informal time of sharing, asking questions and going deeper into God's word.

Greetings in the name of Jesus. Mark 4:14 the sower sows the word.

                                                            COMPLETE IN THREE

The word Trinity, ( meaning three) is not in the Bible, so many different organizations say no to what we believe because we use the word trinity. But in the mouth of two or three witnesses we have in our Bible three times the word Godhead is used. Acts 17:29, Romans 1: 20, and Colossians 2:9. Colossians 2:8-10 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit make up the Godhead. We are complete when we believe in all three.
We also believe this is true when it comes to walking by faith. II Corinthians 5:7 We walk by faith and not by sight.  There are at least three components to faith that we need to be aware of and seek to find them. They are Knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. When we bring these three together we can make our situations work for us and not against us. II Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. We can believe that God’s word is eternal and our situations are temporary. The eternal value comes when we look at (MEDITATE) Gods promises instead of our circumstances. What we say and do about our situation is what we believe in our heart. Proverbs 23:7 as he thinks in his heart so is he. Our faith in action gives Gods word first place instead of our circumstances.
Knowledge: we can only believe what we have knowledge of. Faith is a spiritual law. Romans 3:27b. Romans 1:17b the just (born again) shall live by faith. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of him that diligently seeks Him. Our bible is our guide book into the knowledge of God. When we have the knowledge of what God has said about our situation we will know how to pray to change our situation. I John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. How do we know what Gods will is? His word is His will. That is where we get the knowledge of God. Romans 10:17 Then faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God. II Peter 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him…
Understanding: Matthew 13:19 when anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then comes the wicked one and catches away that which was sown in his heart. The wicked one is generally Satan, but sometimes well meaning Christians can steal the word out of our heart if we do not have any knowledge or do not understand it.  Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principle thing; there for get wisdom and in all your getting get understanding.
Wisdom: the ability to apply the knowledge and understanding of Gods word to our situation. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy one is understanding. This verse uses all three components of faith. Verse 11 shows us how important all three are. For by me your days shall be multiplied, and your years of life shall be increased.  Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom: out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. His word is what has come out of His mouth. James 1:5 if any lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally…
We need the Godhead to be solid in our life. For faith to work in us we need knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. We can liken it to cement. We need sand water and mortar to make it solid. If we leave any one of the three out it will not become solid. We can hear many sermons about faith, but if we do not apply all three components it will not benefit us. Hebrews 4:2 for unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. The tongue is our mixer. Psalms 45:1 my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Just as sand water and mortar are mixed together so should knowledge understanding and wisdom be mixed together to produce faith. Faith is Gods spiritual force, and His word is full of faith. Proverbs 2:10-11 when wisdom enters the heart and knowledge is pleasant to the soul; discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep you. Romans 10:8 the word is nigh you, in your mouth, and in your heart: that is the word of faith. I John 5:4 whatsoever is born of God over comes the world: and this is the victory that over comes the world, our faith. We are complete in three’s God the father God the son and God the Holy Spirit. And we are complete when we find the knowledge of God, and understand it, and have wisdom to apply each one.
